Koko watches TV in her indoor facility. She”s very selective about the movies and shows she likes to watch – and Penny carefully screens out the ones with violent or scary scenes.
For example, Charley Rose is one of her favorite talk shows (it comes on during lunchtime); she loves animated movies such as Lion King and Ice Age; and she also likes love stories (Maid in Manhattan) and comedies (Nutty Professor) – particularly if there”s a large person she can identify with (eg, an oversized Eddie Murphy).
