Dear Friend,
Here’s a quick progress/plans update to help you make a decision about a year-end gift to The Gorilla Foundation …
2023 Accomplishments:
1 ) Completed version 1.0 of the new “Koko Signs” app. It is now available to everyone in both the Apple and Google app stores, for iphones and androids.
2 ) Began partnerships with 2 African educational organizations to study the benefits of the Koko Signs app for both learning sign language and instilling gorilla conservation values.
3 ) Finished digitizing over 90% of our 5-decade interspecies communication research video library, and began sharing it through social media and enewsletters.
4 ) Completed phase 1 of a revolutionary gorilla sanctuary design, featuring large open natural spaces (perimeter-enclosed), optional indoor spaces, and video monitoring (for internet-only access). Produced a 3D model with sufficient detail to attract partners, hire contractors, solicit support, and obtain preliminary permits.
2024 Plans:

Help us follow through with these plans, and realize a significant portion of Koko’s legacy — conservation through communication — in 2024, by making a generous year-end gift now:
Thank you for your support!
