Dear Koko Supporter,
In this video young Koko, just 3 years old, enjoys one of her favorite parts of the day — spending time outside!
A playful Koko runs and climbs a tree with youthful energy before gracefully dropping back down to the ground. The video concludes with Koko savoring a few leaves and flowers, displaying her natural connection to the outdoors.
Koko’s daily outdoor adventures were at her own request, indicative of her incredible ability to communicate her desires. All gorillas have the ability to communicate at this level, if given a chance, and in captivity their wishes should be accommodated whenever possible.
