In order to make it easy for people who live near gorillas in Africa, with slow internet connection speeds, view Koko Signs app videos properly, we added a special “offline mode” to the app. To use this mode, you simply “Download Content” from the internet to the app once, when you have a reasonable internet speed, and then use the downloaded content when you’re either offline or have a slow connection. Early reviews of this new offline mode are promising, as it makes looking up Koko sign and conversation videos (as well as books) instantaneous, and so make converting poachers to protectors much easier than before.
