Koko sits outside on one of the new gorilla bungalow transfer chutes and eats peanut butter out of a jar with a chopstick (yes gorillas can use tools too).
What”s interesting about this photo is that Koko would never have sat anywhere near this building before the additional chutes were added – the chutes provide multiple entry/exit routes so that gorillas Koko and Ndume can cohabitate without feeling cramped.
